ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast) Guide
Please take a moment to check out our aviation related antenna products.
ADS-B is a system that helps to both track and identify aircraft, either by other aircraft, or ground stations. There's basically two systems in use: 1090 MHz ES (Extended Squitter) and 978 MHz UAT (Universal Access Transceiver). 1090 is the more widely used system in most countries. 978 is less popular and mainly utilized by General Aviation aircraft. You can read all the details on the ADS-B Wiki.
Here's a chart showing collected info for various ADS receivers, that have the ability to use an external antenna. If you have any corrections or info to add, please email us.
